Francoise Barbira Freedman is a mother of four and considers this to be her finest accomplishment, despite a distinguished career encompassing teaching, developing revolutionary educational programmes for maternal and child health and writing many books and articles. She is a yoga teacher, a medical anthropologist at the University of Cambridge and founder of the charitable trust, Birthlight. In addition, Dr Freedman lectures in midwifery and women’s health within the National Health Service. Through her books, videos and television appearances, Francoise's pioneering work on pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond is recognised around the world. Dr Freedman also teaches and promotes aqua yoga for pregnant women and young children.

Emily Kelly is a fitness trainer and Pilates crusader with a wide following and the highest reputation.

Bel studied for the highly credited British Wheel of Yoga Teacher Training Diploma and has been teaching yoga for a number of years. She runs a range of adult yoga classes and teaches yoga to children in schools and yoga centres.

Jonathan Monks teaches his own brand of yoga and Pilates called YogaMonks at the Danceworks studio in London. He is also a regular teacher at the Royal Shakespeare Company. He was invited to teach physical therapy at the Integrated Medical Centre in 2000.

Doriel Hall was initiated in India and is known as Swami Dayamurti Saraswati in yogic circles. A highly experienced yoga practitioner, she trained in the Satyananda tradition. For the past 20 years Doriel has been training yoga teachers for the British Wheel of Yoga, widely recognised as Great Britain's governing body for yoga, and has been involved in their verification and assessment procedures for the training courses. As well as running workshops and courses, Doriel speaks regularly at international conferences on different aspects of yoga practice and philosophy.

Judy Smith began practising yoga in the early 1970s to correct her posture and, after having children, trained as a teacher at the prestigious Iyengar Yoga Institute in Maida Vale, London, qualifying in 1989.
